Fire And Ice Facial

The Fire and Ice Facial is specially designed to resurface and rejuvenate the skin in a safe and rapid manner. It helps to reduce the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles, thus improving the overall appearance of blemishes and uneven skin complexion.

What is the Fire and Ice Facial?

The clinical Fire and Ice facial bridges the gap between a conventional facial and an invasive peel that rejuvenates the skin without any downtime. It helps to reduce the appearance of signs of ageing like fine lines and wrinkles by encouraging cellular renewal. It involves multiple steps with two types of professional masques to optimise the overall results. It also helps to clear active acne and reduce the acne scars.

Procedure followed -

The Fire Part

The first step includes applying a 5 minute resurfacing masque with components like citric acid, sugar cane extract ( source of glycolic acid ), Retinol, Apple extract, Niacinamide, and potent antioxidants. It also gives out heat for 2-3 minutes, you might experience a warm and tingly sensation.

The Ice Part

In the second step, a hydrating masque is applied to give off a soothing and cooling effect that leaves the skin glowing and revitalised. This step calms down the skin with a comforting sensation. This mask is rich in components like hyaluronic acid grape seed, japanese green tea, aloe vera extracts, and licorice.

Concluding the Treatment

After the final cleanse, the treatment is finished off with a hydra-cool serum. The serum is applied to the face of the patient along with a moisturizing serum under the eyes. A strong SPF is applied as a humidifying agent for the skin.

Pre and Post Treatment Care

To get the best possible results from the treatment, it’s important that you follow the proper instructions given by our expert dermatologists.

  • You must prepare your skin with our recommended regime before the treatment.
  • You shouldn’t get waxing or laser treatment at least 48 hours prior to the treatment.
  • You should avoid using products with vitamin A or glycolic acid ( or any other resurfacing ingredient ) at least 3 days prior to the treatment.
  • You must notify the doctor about the medications you’re on as some medication can have serious reactions to the treatment.
  • You should inform the clinic that you’re pregnant.

You might feel hot due to the heat during the ‘fire’ part of the facial. However, the skin will cool down once we move forward with the ‘ice’ treatment. This treatment has no downtime, however if you experience any discomfort in the form of redness or swelling it will subside in 4-6 hours.
