Vampire Facial

VAMPIRE FACIAL

Vampire facials use Platelet Rich Plasma ( PRP ) along with microneedling. It has been one of the most talked about skin treatments ever since Kim Kardasian approved and promoted the vampire facial technique.

What is Vampire facial?

Vampire Facial is a non-invasive and non surgical treatment to naturally rejuvenate your skin. This treatment combines the benefits of PRP and Microneedling to stimulate the body’s processes to enhance the skin.

VAMPIRE FACIAL

Vampire facial targets the following skin conditions -

  • Acne scars
  • Dull and uneven skin complexion
  • Impurities due to pollution
  • Uneven skin texture
  • Reducing the appearance of spider veins and broken capillaries
  • Large pores
  • Stretch marks

What is the procedure like?

Platelet Rich Plasma ( PRP ) is collected by extracting a tiny amount of blood from the patient’s arm. This collected blood is then purified with a device called centrifuge. The purification helps to separate the plasma from the blood along with other growth factors. When this purified plasma is injected back into the skin, it penetrates the tissues with its beneficial properties and encourages the skin’s healing process. This treatment can be done on the neck, decollete, back abdomen, arms, legs, and hands.

Who should get a vampire facial?

  • If your skin appears to be grey because of reduction in blood circulation, vampire facial can provide a rosy glow to the face.
  • Dull and tired skin due to ageing and sun exposure can be restored with vampire facial
  • Smiles lines around the mouth can be corrected with vampire facial
  • Acne scars, injury scars, or chicken pox scars can be reduced with vampire facial
  • If you are looking for non surgical procedures that don’t involve incisions and scars, you can opt for vampire facial.

How Safe Is The Procedure?

It is a natural procedure that uses the substances found in your body, it is designed to be safe and effective for all skin types. A personal consultation with our AIIMS trained dermatologists at Influennz can help you decide if you should move forward with this treatment.

Microneedling combined with PRP is a safe treatment performed by experienced doctors. It is expected to be apprehensive about this facial because it uses blood. However, PRP is safe and you will only experience a needle’s prick. As your own blood is used in the treatment, it reduces the risks for allergy as well. There is no recovery time associated and you can go back to your normal routine in no time.

Pre and Post Treatment Care

The treatment begins with cleansing the skin and applying a numbing cream. The intensity of the microneedling and PRP treatment depends on the skin conditions and areas targeted. You might experience some redness or bruising in days following the treatment. Our experts will give you after care instructions to take care of your skin for the next 72 hours after your session. You will be advised to avoid alcohol based products, products with artificial fragrances and irritants, and exfoliants. We recommend limited sun exposure and application of a sunscreen with SPF 30 or above.
