Who Should Get Skin Boosters?

This treatment can be conducted on all skin types. It improves the existing quality of the skin. They are suitable for both men and women. It is recommended for patients from 30-50 years who are looking for an effective method to hydrate their skin and improve skin laxity and fine lines.
For safety reasons, it is not recommended for patients who have/are:

Immunocompromised

Allergic to product ingredients

Have any infected skin area, such as acne or cold sores

Pregnant or breastfeeding women

Prior To Treatment

Avoid consumption of alcohol for 24 hours before your appointment.

Ensure that you let your dermatologist know of any medications that you are taking, but especially if you have recently taken Warfarin, aspirin or any other anticoagulant medication.

We do not recommend the treatment if you are on a course of antibiotics.

We cannot treat patients who have taken the medication Roaccutane within the last 6 months.

Following Treatment

Any small bumps at the injection site will disappear within 1-2 hours following treatment.

Bruising, redness and tenderness on the injection site is common and will resolve in few days.

Avoid alcohol consumption for 12 hours.

Avoid exercise for 48 hours post-treatment.

Avoid applying makeup to the area for 12 hours. Mineral makeup can be used immediately after.

Avoid extreme sun exposure, UV light, freezing temperatures and saunas for 2 weeks.

Pre & Post Treatment Care

Once done with your session, you can return to your routine in no time. Avoid excessive sun exposure and remember to drink at least 3- 4 litres of water per day.
